Fidelity PAC Metals expands its stocking program of 2205 Round Bar
Mike Pope, Product Manager of Long Products for Fidelity PAC Metals, is pleased to announce that the company has significantly expanded its stocking program of 2205 stainless round bar.
Now in stock is 2205 from 1.0″ diameter through 10.0″ diameter.
The 2205 round bar stocked by Fidelity PAC Metals is produced by Metal Ravne, of the Slovenian Steel Group. https://www.sij.si/en/
All of Metal Ravne’s production is DFARS compliant.
Karen Fisher, FidelityPAC’s Sales Manager for Ontario and Western Canada says, “2205 is a duplex stainless steel. The austenitic-ferritic properties of 2205 make it highly corrosion resistant. Combined with a high yield strength, 2205 is considered superior to that of 316/L and 317/L for numerous applications.”
Ms. Fisher continues, “After an extensive market survey, it was determined that the Canadian market was lacking a complete inventory program of 2205 round bar, and Fidelity PAC Metals decided to fill that void”.
